Health Research, Inc (HRI), a not-for-profit corporation, seeks Quality Improvement Consultants who will join a well-established and highly regarded team of public health professionals that comprises the Center for Quality Improvement & Innovation (CQII). The consultant will coordinate the development of virtual quality improvement training courses; provide guidance as a member of CQII planning team to envision new quality improvement programming activities; assist with the development and implementation of CQII’s upcoming learning collaborative; provide support to HIV providers and people with HIV participating in national quality improvement communities of learning; provide training and support to develop capacity for quality improvement among HIV providers and people with HIV; identify opportunities for improvement and conduct projects to improve HIV care; assist sites with the development and coordination of clinical quality management (CQM) programs; participate in regular meetings and conference calls with CQII staff and funders as necessary; submit documentation on monthly coaching activities and document these activities in the on-line database. The consultant will report directly to the CQII Program Director.

Candidates must have relevant experience in the management of health/human services and/or regulatory programs and in the operation or oversight of quality management programs in a public health setting. Experience must include development of systems for operation of quality management programs. The individuals should be knowledgeable in the processes of quality improvement/management group facilitation team building, capacity building of clinical providers or consumers, developing, implementing, evaluating and overseeing ambulatory clinics, city or state health departments; providing consultation; experience with CQM policy; mentoring multi-disciplinary teams and/or quality improvement in network settings; other desirable quality projects, working with people with HIV and community groups; developing and providing quality improvement training programs for healthcare professionals and developing protocols for ensuring compliance with practice guidelines and regulations; strong analytical, interpersonal, oral, writing and computer skills. Experience with Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded recipients desirable.
